Adolph was about 9 years old when his mother married William Christopher. The two of them really loved each other and eventually William leaglly adopted him. I am not sure just when the marriage was over but William remained in the neighborhood and he remained as a father to Adolph.
His birth father had just walked away, never to be heard of again.
I would like to find Williams family and Adolph's family. Narssis was buried next to William Christopher. I do know that Narssis had a sister that took care of William before he died. Her name was Katie.
