Kenneth K Lamb was born January 6, 1933 in Allen, Hughes County, Oklahoma to Jewel Sanford and Inthy Inez McKay Lamb, the fifth of twelve children. He died August 1, 2004 in Van Zandt County, Texas.
Kenneth married Joy Melton on August 8, 1951 at his parent's home in Hagerman, New Mexico with his uncle, Rev. Earl Lamb, officiating.
Kenneth was employed by Merchant's Fast Motor Lines until his retirement at which time he and Joy moved to a country home in Ben Wheeler, Texas where they enjoyed gardening and did a little truck farming.
He attended the Assembly of God Church for nearly all his adult life. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Mary Louella Lamb Cessna, and a niece, Beverly Denise Newton. He is survived by his wife, Joy, of the home, six children and their spouses, several grandchildren, nieces and nephews, seven sisters and three brothers.
