Agnes Mary Kaufmann, 91, formerly of 809 S. 18th St., Manitowoc, died early Friday morning, March 27, 1987 at Holy Family Medical Center. Funeral services will be 10 am Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10:30 am at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Fr. Gerald Prusakowski will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Kaufmann was born December 18, 1895 in the Town of Manitowoc Rapids, daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa Brunner Waniger. She was married to the late William Kaufmann, June 24, 1914 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Alverno. Mrs. Kaufmann was an honorary member of St. Ann Altar Society and an honorary member of Catholic Womens Club.
Survivors include four sons and three daughters-in-law, Milton and Edna Kaufmann of Newton, Glenn Kaufmann of Manitowoc, Harold (Harry) and Dorothy Kaufmann of Manitowoc and Merlyn (Joe) and Ruth Kaufmann of Manitowoc; two daughters and sons-in-law, Agnes and Adolph Drobka of Milwaukee and Mildred and Paul Fischl of Manitowoc; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Arthur and Mary Waniger of St. Nazianz, Edward and Lori Waniger of Howards Grove and Adrian and Eleanora Waniger of Stratford, Wisconsin; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Wolf of Des Plaines, Illinois and Mrs. Eleanor (Sal) Simon of Manitowoc; two sisters-in-law, Christine Waniger of Collins and Ella Waniger of Manitowoc; 43 grandchildren; 77 great grandchildren and a great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by six brothers, a grandson, a great grandson and a daughter-in-law.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 5 pm to 8 pm Sunday, where a prayer service will be &;45 pm by Fr. Jerry Prusakowski.
