BERNARD WANIGER

Bernard (Bud) Waniger, 57, of Collins, died Thursday evening at home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:15 a.m. Monday at Reedsville Funeral Home and at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Reedsville. The Rev. John Neuser will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Waniger was born Feb. 11, 1915, in the Town of Manitowoc Rapids, son of the late Joseph and Theresa Brunner Waniger. He married Christina Kalista Sept. 1, 1938, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Reedsville. He owned and operated a tavern in Collins since 1947. He was a member of Manitowoc County Tavern League, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 706 and Collins Fire Dept.

Survivors include his wife, a son and a daughter (Survivors omitted for privacy.); five brothers, Frank, Leo and Edward Sr., of Manitowoc, Arthur, of St. Nazianz and Adrian, of Fenwood, Wis.; three sisters, Mrs. Agnes Kaufman and Mrs. Isadore (Sal) Simon, of Manitowoc and Mrs. Mary Wolf, of DesPlaines, Ill., and four grandchildren. Three brothers, Joseph, William and Jim, preceded him in death.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday where a prayer service will be held at 8 p.m.
