Dean lived a full and exciting life. He made over 40 trips to Europe but his favorite countries were Germany and Austria. One of his fondest memories was when his father and his sister, Rita, accompanied him on a trip to Germany. He enjoyed being a personal tour guide for his family and friends. He also had a love for anything Disney; he made numerous trips to Disneyland and Disney World and soon after retirement, he moved to Florida to be closer to Disney World. He loved playing with computers and gadgets. Dean will be remembered for being a happy-go-lucky guy and was also known to be a "pun" master.
Dean was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Margaret Johnson; and sister, Rita Deetz. Dean is survived by his brothers and their spouses, Irvin (Sue) Johnson, Lloyd (Bonnie) Johnson and Lyle (Denise) Johnson; nephews, Jeff Deetz and Adam Johnson; and nieces, Amy Deetz, Erin Vodka, Kelsey Johnson and Leslie Johnson.
