A retired secretary who took pride in her work for the Portland Veterans Administration regional office, Lena "Lucille" Sullivan, 79, died Thursday, Feb. 22, 2001, at Southwest Washington Medical Center.
Miss Sullivan was born April 5, 1921, in Hampton, Tenn., and moved to Vancouver in 1932. She spent several years volunteering at Vancouver Memorial Hospital.
She is survived by one nephew, Al Sullivan of Vancouver.
A graveside service will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Park Hill Cemetery. Evergreen Staples Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
