He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, one sister, and one great grandchild.
He is survived by his wife Ruth of the home, 2 sons: Wesley of LaMesa, California; Dale of Rialto, California; one daughter- Margery (Mrs. Freeman Johnson) of Hayden Lake, Idaho; one step-son James Witham of Harper Ferry, Ia.; one brother Eldon of the Masonic Home in Perry; 2 sisters: Mrs. Ruth French of Van Meter and Mrs. Winifred Cadwell of Rural route Adel; 14 grandchildren and one great grandchild; and other relatives and friends.
