George F. Wise – Dakota, Ill., April 26 – George F. Wise, 77, of Dakota, died about 4 o'clock this morning in a Freeport hospital, where he had been a patient since April 18. He was born at Twin Grove Dec. 25, 1867, and spent his entire lifetime in this community. On March 1, 1894 he was united in marriage to Miss Sadie Stamm, who died Jan. 16, 1935. He is survived by two sons, Ford, of Dakota, Glenn Wise, of Rock Grove; three daughters, Mrs. Harper Meyer, of Polo, Mrs. Albert Goeke and Mrs. Albert Hugelshofer, of Dakota; nineteen grandchildren; one brother Floyd Wise, of Afolkey; five sisters, Mrs. James Neuschwander, of Dakota, Mrs. Lincoln Shockey and Mrs. M. L. Fehr, of Freeport; Mrs. W. W. Spangler and Mrs. Ada Molter, of Riddot.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Myers Funeral Home in Dakota and at 2 o'clock at the Dakota Community Church. Rev. Fred Koschmann will officiate and burial will be made in the Dakota cemetery. Friends may call at the Myers Funeral Home after Friday noon.
