JULIA WILDE
OGDEN, Utah—Funeral services for Julia Beyda Wilde were Saturday, April 9, at Myers Mortuary Chapel, Ogden, Utah, with Bishop Dale Pfister officiating.
Interment was in Washington Heights Memorial Park in Ogden.
Mrs. Wilde, 67, 610 East 900 North, Ogden, Utah, died Wednesday, April 6, at the McKay-Dee Hospital of cancer.
She was born April 24, 1921 in Gate Works, Pa., the daughter of George and Mary Besitka Beyda. On Dec. 23, 1951, she married Mathew Wilde Jr. in Rock Springs. He died Jan. 7, 1978. She was a member of the Ogden 85th LDS Ward. She served in the primary, in the relief society and as a visiting teaching supervisor, a luncheon committee chairman and sunshine girl.
She was a member of the National Slovak Society. She also was active in the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Rock Springs. She lived in Frontier and Rock Springs prior to moving to Ogden in 1958.
Survivors include two sons, A. James "Jim" Wilde and Joseph Michael Wilde, both of Ogden; four grandchildren; two brothers and one sister, Michael Beyda and George Beyda, both of Rock Springs, and Mrs. Lee (Eileen) Gentry, Sterling, Colo.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son.
