In the death of Mr. Armintus Fuller, which occurred at the home of his daughter, Mrs. T. J. Gilstrap, 911 So. 18th Street yesterday morning at 3:30 o'clock, an exempliary Christian passed on to meet preceeding loved ones. Loving children and friends watched his peaceful departure abiding in the trust of the Lord. Two weeks ago Thursday Mr. Fuller had a stroke of paralysis and as he talked of his journey, he was happy in Jesus' love and ready to go, praising the Lord for his goodness and strength.
Armintus Fuller was born in St. Lawrence county, New York, February 3, 1824 and died November 25, 1907 aged 83 years, 9 months and 22 days. He was married to Miss Arminta Brough in Ohio, January 1, 1850. They came to Centerville April 13, 1853. This city has ever since been his home. His wife died June 1,1904.
Mr. Fuller was the father of ten children. All of them survive him, they are, Mr. Wm. J. Few people have lived as clean and upright a life of kindness and purity as Mr. Fuller and although he lived past the four score years, once can only remember him as a Christian shunning evil and clinging to a truth which gives us Heaven on earth and hereafter.
All the children except Frank, May and Edward were at the bedside during his last illness.
