Funeral service for Grady Scott, 79, of Lubbock, Texas was held Saturday, December 22, 1990, at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Dr. George Estes and Rev. Sam Estes, ministers, officiated. Burial was in Resthaven Memorial Park in Lubbock, directed by Resthaven Funeral Home. Mr. Scott passed away Thursday at 6:45 pm at his residence following an illness.
A native of Russellville, Arkansas, he was a retired farmer and truck driver.
He was married to Virginia Kinslow on August 09, 1930 in Pottsville, Arkansas. He moved to Lubbock in 1935. He was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia; a son, Joe Bob Scott of El Paso, Texas; a daughter, Mrs. Jane Libs of Floyd Knobs, Indiana; three sisters, Mrs. Lois Minor, of Russellville, Mrs. Eula Ellison of Lubbock and Mrs. Navolia Kinslow of Floydada; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
