Burial was in Resthaven Memorial Park in Lubbock, directed by Resthaven Funeral Home. Mr. Scott passed away Thursday at 6:45 pm at his residence following an illness.
A native of Russellville, Arkansas, he was a retired farmer and truck driver.
He was married to Virginia Kinslow on August 09, 1930 in Pottsville, Arkansas. He moved to Lubbock in 1935. He was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia; a son, Joe Bob Scott of El Paso, Texas; a daughter, Mrs. Jane Libs of Floyd Knobs, Indiana; three sisters, Mrs. Lois Minor, of Russellville, Mrs. Eula Ellison of Lubbock and Mrs. Navolia Kinslow of Floydada; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
