Robert "Bob" A. Kimmerly age 78 years of Washington D.C. formerly of Adams County, Ohio died Wednesday February 18, 2015 at Deanwood Nursing Home in Washington, D.C. Mr. Kimmerly was born April 26, 1936 the son of the late Samuel and Perlina (Hatfield) Kimmerly Sr. in Adams County, Ohio. Besides his parents; he was preceded in death by sister; Corda Downs; brothers; Charles Kimmerly, Fred Kimmerly and Samuel Kimmerly Jr.

Survivors include; five sisters; Bertha Webb of Wayne Township, Ohio; Mintie Rogers of West Union, Ohio; Sally Parsons of Forest Grove, Oregon; Annie Frost of Dayton, Ohio; Jean Grooms of New Richmond, Ohio; brothers; James Kimmerly of Manchester, Ohio; Ross Kimmerly of Cincinnati, Ohio and Ed Kimmerly of Dayton, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held Thursday February 26, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home with Tom Brown officiating. Burial will follow at the West Union Village Cemetery with military graveside services by the Adams County Honor Guard. Visitation will be held from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. the day of the service at the funeral home.
