"Nathan Harlan Mcintosh was born on September 11, 1851, in Indiana. When seventeen years of age, the family moved to the wilderness of Kansas, where his parents helped with the very first settling of that section of our country. They built roads and bridges, established schools and churches. His father, William Mcintosh, was a pioneer preacher of that time, and rode for miles on horseback, preaching the gospel here and there to the people of that section." --- Gospel Advocate, Aug. 18, 1932, p. 924.
Nathan married Anna Elizabeth Skelton 9 March 1881 in Labette County, Kansas. They had 4 children there, two of whom are buried near his parents.
Sometime between 1900 and 1910, they moved with their only surviving daughter to Los Angeles County, CA. They lived in Redondo Beach and Hermosa Beach.
