Dorothy Lee Federwisch, 76, of Riesel, passed away Saturday afternoon, May 13, 2006. Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2006, at Friedens E&R United Church of Christ in Riesel with Chaplain Curtis Holland officiating. Burial will follow at Friedens Cemetery in Riesel. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Adams Funeral Home.

Dorothy was born in Falls County, Texas, to the late Charles Christian and Alma Emily (Woltman) Zipperlen. She married Clarence Federwisch on Feb. 21, 1948. Dorothy was a member of Friedens E&R United Church of Christ in Riesel. She was a longtime member of the Women's Guild at the Friedens Church, loved to garden, can foods, and sew.

She was preceded in death by two brothers; and three sisters.

She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Clarence; daughters, Rose Holle and husband, John, of Riesel, Linda Burney and husband, John, of Huntsville, Nancy Ford and husband, Rick, of Riesel, and Tami Poston and husband, Greg, of Meridian; grandchildren, Nathan Holle, Jason Holle, Kristie Brandenberger, Melissa Sanchez, Brian Burney, Amber Poston, Megan Poston and Morgan Poston; great-grandchildren, Sydney and Hunter Holle, Mason and Mikail Bradenberger and Kimberlee Walker; other family members and many friends.
