Mary Serrian - Mrs. Mary T. Serrian, 1739 Jefferson Ave., Dunmore, died Thursday in Community Medical Center after an illness. She was the wife of Joseph Serrian. -- Born in Scranton, daughter of Mrs. Minnie Severo Grippo (Philomena Savero 1907-1987) , this city, and the late William Grippo (Vito 1906-1975), she was educated in city schools and employed as a bookbinder at Haddon Craftsmen Inc. She was a member of St. Rocco's Church, Dunmore, its Altar and Rosary Society and was a volunteer for the Blind Association. -- Also surviving are a daughter, Joanne, at home; two brothers, Frank, Clarks Summit, and Rocco, Scranton; a sister, Mrs. Florence Maglioli, Scranton, and nieces and nephews. -- The funeral will be Saturday from Carl J. Savino Funeral home, 157-59 S. Main Ave., with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Rocco's Church. Interment, Abington Hills Cemetery. -- Friends may call 2 to 4, 7 to 9 p.m.
