Billie Sue Ward entered this life on March 28, 1939 in Tahlequah, OK the daughter of Bill and Altimae (Napier) Fears. She went to her eternal resting place on February 16, 2015 in Tahlequah, OK.
Billie spent her entire life in the Tahlequah area, and many of those years were spent with her loving husband, Freddie David Ward, until his passing in April of 2008. She enjoyed spending time in the garden and had a love for horticulture, but more than anything she loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren. Billie had a great sense of humor never missing a chance to cut up with friends and family, she was a kind hearted woman that would be the first in line to help anyone that may need a hand, in her spare time she liked to relax and listen to her music. Billie was an amazing woman that accomplished a very satisfying life, and will be missed by all her friends and loved ones.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers; Otis and Cleo Fears, and three sisters; Ludema Taylor, Icealee Fears, and Alma Mae Wallace.
Those left to remember Billie's legacy include one son David Franklin Ward of Tahlequah, three daughters; Linda Banning of Tahlequah, Vickie Ward of Independence, KS and Marsha Laughlin and husband Garie of Tahlequah, one sister Hazel Martin, 10 grandchildren, and 15 grandchildren, as well as, a host of other family, friends, and loved ones.
