Anna M. Bannach, 66, Grand Forks, died March 14, 2005. Mass of Chrsitian Burial will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 18, at Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 South 42nd Street, Grand Forks. Burial will be at St. Boniface Cemetery, Calio, in the spring.

Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Anna Marie Bannach was born to Agnes Fetch and George Bannach Nov. 27, 1938, at the family farm near Calio. She attended school at Calio, and graduated from Munich High School in 1956. She lived in Devils Lake prior to moving to Grand Forks in 1958. Anna and Robert D. Monson were married June 17, 1961. She was employed as a secretary in Grand Forks for many years.

Anna enjoyed life, and enjoyed many self-taught hobbies, such as sewing, rosemaling, and computers.

Survivors include her daughter, Cheryl (Robert) Miller, Bismarck; a grandson, Jared Miller; her sisters, Barbara (DeWayne) Janzen, and Marlene Garritson, both of Grand Forks; her brothers, Elmer Bannach, and Jerome (Mary) Bannach, both of Grand Forks; her sister-in-law, Janelle Bannach, Cando; several nieces and nephews; and many special friends at 4000 Valley Square, Prairieview.

She is preceded in death by her brothers, James, Edwin and Victor; nephews, Ken Janzen and Danny Garritson; and her brother-in-law, Jack Garritson.
