Bernice, or Bernie, as some people knew her, was always someone you could have a conversation with and count on if you ever needed anything - friend or stranger.
She was kind to everyone, she loved gardening, bingo, playing cards, listening to old country western music, such as the old time fiddlers, and family.
We would like everyone to remember her kindness and "attitude" at times. We would like to thank all 12 remaining brothers and sisters, Juanita, Melvin, Hazel, Sam, Todd, Everette, Margaret, George, Ruby, Roxie and Taylor, and especially her sister, Virginia, for all their love and support.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George (Bud) Stone; parents Homer and Maggie Brewer, and older sister Stella Ann Brewer.
Cremation has taken place by Vassar-Rawls Funeral Home.
