Obituary from the Edwardsville Intelligencer, Edwardsville, Madison County, Illinois, Monday, November 14, 1960, page 2:
  Albert Baca, 52 of 1202 State St., Collinsville, a fireman at the Armor Packing Co. in East St. Louis, died Sunday at 2:40 a.m. at the Madison County Tuberculosis Sanatorium [Edwardsville] where he had been a patient nine days. He had been in ill health the past eight years.
  Final rites will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. from the Herbert A. Kassly funeral home, Collinsville. The Rev. Dr. William H. Sill will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 o'clock this evening until the service. Burial will be in the Buck Rd. cemetery.
  Born March 5, 1908 in Glen Carbon, he was the son of the late Joseph and Marie Hatina Baca.
  Surviving are his wife, Kathleen, two stepsons, Clayton Mace of East St. Louis and Roy Mace of Cleveland, O., two brothers, Anton Baca of Glen Carbon Crossing and William Baca, Collinsville, four sisters, Mrs. Alvin (Antonia) Davis of Glen Carbon Crossing, Mrs. Carl (Anna) Crane and Mrs. Joseph (Mary) Rozum, both of Edwardsville, Mrs. Fred (Agnes) Schardan, Collinsville, and five step grandchildren.
