She was born November 5, 1930 in North Chicago to Harry and Wanda (Dandowski) Bruhns.
After attending St. Ignance Academy, she went to Purdue University where she met Hubert P. Reinhold in 1948. They were married July 2, 1950 in Ladoga. Marie went on to further her education at Canterbury College and Indiana University.
Marie is survived by her husband, Hubert, a daughter, Rachelle (Russell) Sattler of Two Harbors, Minnesota; a son, Mark Reinhold of Mishawaka; 11 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; two sisters, Janet Kroll and Zena Swets, both of Chicago; and two brothers, Melvyn (Judy) Bruhns of Elmhurst, Illinois, and Frank (Gladys) Bruhns of Chicago.
She was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Reinhold, three brothers, Karl, Fredrich and Merwyn Bruhns, a daughter-in-law, Cheryl Reinhold, and a grandson, Ryan Scott Sattler.
Marie loved reading the Bible. She was in her fourth reading last week. Proverbs was her favorite book. She was involved in Tri Kappa Sorority, Crisis Center telephone program in Lafayette, her church and Bible study for 15 years.
