Waverly News, June 16, 1904
Quite a sad death occurred in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hines in the death of their little eight-year-old son. The death being caused by a snag that the little fellow received in his foo while running. For a few hours nothing serious was thought of the hurt, but soon came the fatal case of lockjaw. The parents and relatives have a host of friends who extend their entire sympathy to them in their great loss.
