Elmer Hines, 78, died at his residence here at 1 p. m. Sunday, Dec 23 1962. He had been in declining health for several years. A native of Pike County, he was born July 18, 1884 and was the son of Frederick and Elizabeth Reed Hines. On Nov. 12, 1910, he was married to Anna Kuntzman, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Christina Bapst, Beaver Route 2: two sisters, Mrs. Jennie Davis of Morrow, and Miss Linnie Hines of Columbus; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mr. Hines was preceded in death by his parents: a son, Carl, who died in 1952: one brother and two sisters. Service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Hammerstein Funeral Home with the Rev. Woodrow Trainer officiating. Burial will follow in Beaver Union Cemetery.
