Find a Grave is a great way to honor our ancestors who so bravely paved the way before us. They must not be forgotten.
I have been interested in creating personal and historical links and remembrances to my ancestors and family members, so almost every one of my memorials that I have created are a part of my, or my late husbands family. I appreciate folks who generously transfer their memorials to family members. It makes it so much easier to add bios and make the links and corrections. If I have created an occasional memorial outside of our family, I will gladly transfer to their family members, just ask.
I don't just create graves, I create memorials for my family to fully use, share, enjoy, add pictures or other personals. I recently have been going through my tombstone pictures and updating them after revisiting the graves, gently cleaning the stones with a soft brush, water and elbow grease. What a chore but the pictures are well worth the effort.
I have shared my personal tombstone pictures, portraits and historical documents on many of my memorials and I give my permission to use these in your own personal memorials and family trees, but my personal photos are not to be used for publishing or monetary gain.
We would love to hear from our family members! Obituaries, family photos and stories are very much welcomed! Happy hunting.
