Mrs. Myrta Howell Tyler, 92, a native of Tompkins County and a former resident of Ithaca, died Saturday August 13, 1960 in Church Home Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Mrs. Tyler, widow of James Tyler, had visited here this July for the Tyler Family Reunion. Her survivors include her daughter Mrs. Alma Koski of Geise Ave Baltimore with whom she has lived the past 6 years.; a son Cyril Tyler of Jacksonville; 25 grandchildren and 49 great grandchildren. Funeral services and burial will be in Baltimore Tuesday.
It would seem that aunt Myrtie's body was not returned to New York to lie beside her husband. However, there is no documentation, as of yet, to prove the exact location of her burial.∼Married James E Tyler 12/22/1886
