Funeral services for Alma V. Stoecklin, 80 of rural Greenville will be held today (Tuesday) at 2 p.m. at the Smith Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Mallicoat officiating. Interment will be in Smith Grove cemetery.
The Donnell-Wiegand Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Stoecklin died 30Nov at 11:15 at Utlaut Memorial Hospital.
She was born 06Dec1901 in Montgomery Co. in VanBurensburg to Cyrus T. & Louvenia C. (Snow) Koontz. She married Philip H. Stoecklin 09Mar1929 in Greenville. He died 08May1961.
She is survived by sons, Donald P. Stoecklin of west of Greenville; Ronald K. Stoecklin of north of Greenville; James Stoecklin of south of Greenville; & Paul S. Stoecklin of Wood River; 12 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren & 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Walter Koontz, Alva Koontz, sisters, Myrtle Traylor, Mayre File & Mildred Smith & a grandson.
Mrs. Stoecklin attended VanBurensburg, Mulberry Grove & Greenville schools. She was a member of Smith Grove Baptist Church.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
