Age 70, the daughter of the late John V. and Carrie Mangues Quirk. She was a graduate of St. Andrew grade school, Villa Maria Academy, and Villa Maria College. She taught at St. Boniface and Sacred Heart Catholic Schools. Carolyn had also worked for several years as a medical secretary and the GECAC programs. She was a member of St. Patrick Church and for most of her adult life belonged to their Choir. She also was an avid bowler.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, John V. Quirk, Jr., and Charles J. Quirk and his wife, Carol Quirk.
She is survived by a sister, Sister Christine Quirk, SSJ; and a brother, William J. Quirk (Patricia), all of Erie and many nieces and nephews.
