Miss Lena Whitley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. I.A. Whitley and grand daughter of Mr. John Whitley, of south Monroe township, died a few days ago at the home of her parents in Lancaster, SC. She had been sick about a year. She was 18 years old and was a girl whose fine character made her a favorite with all her acquaintances. Funeral was held at the Laney Cemetery in south Monroe township.
