Mrs. Sarah Gleason died suddenly at her home in Grand Junction Monday afternoon. She was the mother of Mrs. A. S. Exter of this city and of Mrs. Chapman and Albert Gleason of Grand Junction. There is also a son living in Wayland, Michigan, to whom the remains were shipped Wednesday, accompanied by the son Albert. Mrs. Exter left on the first train after receiving the news. Mr. Exter accompanied her, and returning the following day took the two children over, as Mrs. Exter will remain for some time with her sister, Mrs. Chapman, who is almost prostrated by the shock. Death was the result of appoplexy[sic], which may have been induced by a light attack of erysipelas. The deceased was 62 years of age and was quite well known in Salida.
