Due to a complication of ailments, Lemmon R. Kiger, 72, well known farmer and stock raiser of Whiteley Township, died at his home at noon, Monday, May 21, 1945.

Mr. Kiger, the last member of his family, and a life-long resident of Greene County, was a son of the late Charles and Mary Ann Rose Kiger, and was born in Greene County, August 25, 1872. He was a member of the Claughton Chapel Church.

His wife, Belle Wade Kiger, survives, along with the following children: Mrs. Virgie Statler, of Taylorstown; Mrs. Texie Walters, of Waynesburg, R. D. 3; Rex Kiger, with the U.S. Army in England; Carl Kiger, with the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific, and Earl, Mabel, Mary Ann and Betty June Kiger, all at home.
