She was born September 22, 1931, a daughter of Lemon and Bell Wade Kiger. She was a member of Valley Chapel Methodist Church, Brock, PA.
She married Charles Ross Phillips, August 27, 1947, who died April 17, 1991.
Surviving are four daughters, Linda Philips, Beverly (Randy) Roman both of Mt. Morris, PA, and Mary Ann(Thomas) Layton and Martha (Danny) Sperandio both of Core, WV; four sons, Enoch (Sue) Phillips, George (Brenda) Phillips both of Spraggs, Gary Phillips of Springside, NY. and Douglas (Angie) Phillips of Holbrook, PA; thirteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; a brother Carl Kiger of Waynesburg and a sister, Mary Ann Benton of Sandy, Oregon.
Deceased in addition to her husband is a son, Charles Allen Phillips, two brothers Rex and Earl Kiger, three sisters Texa Walter, Mabel Kerns and Vergie Statler.
