MOUNT PLEASANT -- Albert Layton DRAPER, 76, retired stock grower and lumber man, died Tuesday at the home of a son, Andy DRAPER, in Oakridge, Oregon, after an extended illness, according to word received here.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday in the South Ward Chapel, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, by Leo Larsen, bishop.
Friends may call at the home of a granddaughter, Mrs. Donna D. BREWER, in the Cadia apartments, 85 North 1st West, from 10:00 a.m. Monday to time of Services.
Burial will be in the Mount Pleasant City Cemetery under direction of the Jacobs Mortuary.
Mr. DRAPER was born in Moroni, February 19, 1874, a son of Albert and Clara Bruno DRAPER. He attended Moroni schools. He married Effie M. NEY of Mount Pleasant. He was a member of the LDS Church.
Surviving is his widow, Springfield Colorado; also sons and daughters, Lloyd T. DRAPER, Mrs. Eugene ROLPH, and Mrs. Irvin LARSEN of Mount Pleasant; Harold DRAPER of Orangeville; Mrs. James ERICKSEN of Willetts, California; Woodrow W. DRAPER of Palm Beach, Florida; Andy DRAPER of Oakridge, Oregon; Mrs. I. L. HAMILTON and Marlin DRAPER of Springfield, Colorado; thirty-six grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
