Married: Rhoda Elizabeth (Ella) Decius 20 Aug 1894 Lewis Co., WA

George Robert Allison was born 1863 in Idaho Territory. His parents, Alanson/Alfred Allison and Mary Elizabeth Kennedy Allison both came west over the Oregon Trail. After their marriage they made a return trip to Idaho as Alanson was hauling freight to the mines. They planned to winter in Boise Valley and it was there that their first child, George was born.

George was a farmer and logger. He met Rhoda Ella Decius at her father's business, a hotel and cobbler shop in Centralia. In anticipation of his marriage, he entered a homestead near Ethel, WA. George and Rhoda were married in 1894 and had 2 children while living on the farm in Ethel. After their 2nd child was born, they decided to find a place closer to a school so he purchased 2 adjoining pieces of property on Lacamas Prairie right by the new Lacamas Prairie School & George built their home there in 1902. It was here that they raised their family of 7 children. George died unexpectedly of a Heart Attack in 1936.

George, Rhoda and several of their children are buried in the Winlock Cemetery where his parents are buried.
