Virginia Marie (Yungwirth) Bond died peacefully at her home in Lakeview Place on January 02, 2015 in Fond du Lac, WI at the age of 94.
Virginia is survived by her loving husband Harold Gordon Bond and her dedicated children Robert John, Kenneth Harold, Daniel Joseph, Kathleen Marie and Mary Jean Bond.
Virginia Yungwirth first met Harold Bond at the Red Tie Tap in Fond du Lac, WI in 1947. They were engaged Christmas Eve of 1947 and married August 30, 1948.
Virginia and Harold raised five children and were blessed with six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
During the early years of their retirement, Virginia and Harold loved to golf, ride bikes, go out to eat and visit with family and friends. During her time at Lakeview Place, Virginia loved to play bingo, thus receiving the nick name Virginia Bingo Bond.
Family and friends will greatly miss you Virginia! You were a happy easy going woman with an abundance of love.
Visitation is scheduled on Wednesday, January 7, 2014 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, located at 524 N Park Avenue, Fond du Lac, WI. Service will be at 1:00 PM. Procession to Rienzi Cemetery will follow the service. All are welcome to attend to pay their respects and commemorate Virginia’s life.
