She married Albert G. Burgess in 1939, together they had 3 sons; Albert 'LaVerne', Carl D. and Mervin G. Burgess. She married Raymond Kenneth Buehl on June 30, 1946 and together they had 5 children; Paul E., Maxine Marie, Raymond K. (Jr.), Barbara J. and Penny L. Buehl.
