June Hague, 81, of Cottage Grove died April 23 from age-related causes.

She was born Dec. 12, 1924, in Marcola to Samuel T. and Ila May Eastburn.

She graduated from Cottage Grove Union High in 1942.

She married Harrison "Harry" Hague Jr. on Jan. 2, 1948, in Tacoma, Wash.

A lifelong resident of Cottage Grove, she worked as a bank teller at First National Bank in both Eugene and Cottage Grove.

She enjoyed collecting angel figurines and loved spending time with family and friends.

She was a member of the Row River Valley Church for 23 years and a member of the Church of Christ at Sixth and Gibbs in Cottage Grove.

She is survived by her husband, Harry; three daughters, Vickie Billingsley of Portland, Kay Markham of Cottage Grove and Mari Hart of Drain; three sisters, Neva Shaw, Arlyn Van Nortwick and Lucille Bricker of Cottage Grove; five grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Tami Billingsley and Adam Russell.

A funeral service was held April 28 at Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel in Cottage Grove. A private interment was held at Lane Memorial Garden in Eugene. Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
