Born in Oyster Run, Pa. on July 20, 1936, he was the son of Percy and Edna Moyer Meredith.
On March 16, 1955 he was married to Bessie "Pat" Plyler and she survives. He was a member of the Moorhead United Methodist Church in Brockway.He was retired from Brocious Trucking Company where he had worked for 32 years as a truck driver. He enjoyed camping, racing, spending time with his family and especially taking rides through the country side.
He is survived by 4 Sons:
Ron (Martha) Meredith and Daniel (Mary Jo) Meredith both of Brockway
Rick (Linda) Meredith of Brockport and Dave (Diane) Meredith of Reynoldsville.
He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
He is preceeded in death by his parents, 2 Brothers: Laverne and Raymond Meredith and 2 Sisters: Eleanor Mae Small and Edith Neubert.
Friends may call on Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway. The funeral service will be on Wednesday morning at 11:00 A.M. also at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Morningside Cemetery.
