Curtis was born July 3, 1946, in Spring Valley to Gerald and Irma (Hawley)Ryan. He owned and operated CsRs Palace in Tonica before working as the groundskeeper at Edgewood Golf Course in McNabb. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed making people laugh and to bring a smile to their face.
Curtis is survived by two brothers, Robert Patrick Ryan of Tonica and Tod(Penny) Ryan of Granville; two sisters, Dixie Fleming of Ottawa and Rebecca (Randy Kentzel) Ryan of Wildomar, Calif.; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 19, at the Hurst Funeral Home in Tonica and private graveside services will be Saturday, Dec. 20.
