Mr. Carlon Levon Martin age 65 of Jordan Road went home to be with the Lord December 12, 2014 at Agape Senior and Rehabilitation of Conway. Mr. Martin was born January 28, 1949 a son of the late Clarence and Annie Sue Todd Martin. He was a Veteran of the United States Army Reserves, and a member of Langston Baptist Church. He graduated from Aynor High School in 1967 and Clemson University in 1971. Mr. Martin began his career with Elanco and retired from Dow Agro Science after 35 years of service. Mr. Martin loved his church, family, country, and Clemson University. Surviving Mr. Martin in addition to his wife Mrs. Deborah Jordan Martin of the home are two daughters, Amy Martin Lambert of Atlanta, Ga., Jill Reeves and her husband Matthew of Clemson, three brothers, Doug, Dennis, and Tim Martin all of Aynor, five sisters, Bonnie Page of Seneca, JoAnn Berry of North Myrtle Beach, Lib Barnhill of Aynor, Shelby Frye of Galivants Ferry, Wanda Squires of Aynor, and eight grandchildren, Joseph, Anna, Esther, Jesse, Naomi Lambert, and Madeline, Samuel, and Willow Reeves. Memorials can be made in Mr. Levon Martin’s memory to Conway National Bank, “Scholarship Fund” PO Box 400 Aynor, SC 29511, in order to benefit graduating Aynor High School Seniors heading to Clemson University to study Agriculture.
