Cool Springs, SC - Annie Sue Martin, 84, widow of Clarence F. Martin, died November 23, 2011 at the Conway Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born in Conway, SC on May 20, 1927 to the late Ed Todd and Hazel Bellamy Todd. Mrs. Martin was predeceased by her parents, a brother Jimmy Todd, and great grandchildren Sydney and Aiden Crain. Surviving are her four sons Douglas Martin (Becky), Levon Martin (Debbie), Dennis Martin (Cindy), and Timmy Martin (Josephine), all of Aynor, SC; five daughters, Bonnie Page (Ed) of Seneca, SC, Joann Berry (Carlyle) of Little River, SC, and Lib Barnhill (Shorty), Shelby Frye (Kenneth), and Wanda Squires (Kenny), all of Aynor, SC. She had 23 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, and brothers Carl Todd of Columbia, SC and Lonnie Chavis of Baltimore, MD. Mrs. Martin was a retired farmer and homemaker.She was a member of Pleasant Union Baptist Church and a member of the WMU. She was recently recognized as the female church member having the longest duration of membership at Pleasant Union Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the Johnson Funeral Home in Aynor, SC on Friday, November 25, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Pleasant Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Dock Rabon and Rev. Ragsdale Allsbrook officiating.
