CENTRAL CITY — Lillie A. Pierce, 93, of Central City died Thursday, Dec. 4, 2014, at Litzenberg Memorial County Hospital in Central City.

Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at O’Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral Home in Kearney with the Rev. Gary Main officiating. Burial will be at Central City Cemetery.

Lillie A. Pierce was born April 13, 1921, in Loup City to Henry and Rosa (Lubes) Steinke. She married Raymond H. Pierce on June 5, 1942, in Fremont. Lillie was a longtime employee of BD in Holdrege. She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling and playing cards.

Survivors include her grandchildren, Brooke McGee of Washington, D.C., and Brock McGee of Lincoln; great-grandson, Trajan McGee of Lincoln; son-in-law, Arlan McGee of Kearney; sisters, Genevieve Harris of Central City and Carrie Banister and her husband, Bob, of North Platte; many nieces and nephews; and several grandnieces and grandnephews.

Lillie was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Shelly McGee; four brothers; and five sisters.
