Mary R. Kistler, 87, of Mosser Nursing Home, Trexlertown, formerly of Slatedale, died Thursday, Oct. 19, in the Mosser Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Elmer C. Kistler.
She was a presser for various knitting mills in Slatedale for many years before retiring in 1976.
Born in Lynn Township, she was a daughter of the late Milton J. and Ida R. (Fenstermaker) Weaver.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Slatedale, and a former member of the Lehigh Furnace Sunday school.
Survivors: Sons, William C. and Ronald E., both of Slatington; sisters, Neda Schoemaker of Allentown, Perma Blose and Mabel Turner, both of Slatington; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
