Mabel H. Turner

Mabel H. (Weaver) Turner, 88, formerly of Slatington, passed away Monday, September 18, 2007, at Easton Nursing Center. She was the wife of the late Wayne Turner.

Born in Lynn Township, she was the daughter of the late Milton and Ida (Fenstermacher) Weaver.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Slatington.

She was affectionately known by everyone as 'Aunt Mabel', and loved her cats. She enjoyed crocheting and would always have a baby blanket or afghan ready for newborns or newly weds in the family. She loved to have fun.

Survivors: Nine nieces; eight nephews

Services: noon Friday, September 21, Keller Funeral Homes Inc., 6776 Madison St., New Tripoli, with the Rev. Russell F. Haab officiating. Call 11 a.m. to noon in the funeral home. Interment, New Dinkey Memorial Cemetery, Ashfield.
