During WWII he worked at Douglas Aircraft (now Tinker Air Force Base). Myrl worked on war essential C-47 paratrooper aircraft.
He was preceded in death by his paternal father Henry W. Meder; mother Emma Zimmerman; stepfather F.O. Zimmerman; wife Willie Mae Meder; and sister Meridith Wanda Meder.
Survivors include his son Myrl E. Meder and wife Carole; grandsons Kenneth Edward Meder, Derek Landon Meder; granddaughter Christina Marie Holden; great grandchildren Cody and Lacy Meder, Brandi and Michael Harrison, Megan Holden and Ethan Meder all of Oklahoma City; and niece Billie Cathy of McAlister, OK.
Funeral service ~ Tuesday March 28, 2006 at Smith and Kernke Chapel, 1401 NW 23rd. Interment was at Rose Hill Burial Park.
