CMSGT (Ret) Hilmar A."Hal" Lang, Jr. Of Stonewall, Texas passed away in Fredericksburg, Texas on Saturday, December 6th, 2014 at the age of 89 years. He was born in Fredericksburg, Texas on May 19th, 1925, the son of Hilmar Arnold Lang, Sr. and Minnie B. Rheinhardt Lang, Baptized August 9th, 1925 in Zion Lutheran Church in Fredericksburg, and Confirmed April 2nd, 1939 also in Zion's Church, attended schools in Fredericksburg, and Harper, Reingold, served and retired from U.S. Air Force as Chief Master Sergeant after over 30 years of service, his service took his through World War II, Korea and the Vietnam Wars, Hal married Jeanette Eleanora Danz on August 24th, 1968 in San Antonio, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Jeanette, and son, Tommy Glenn Lang, brothers, Joseph D. "JD" Lang, Archie Lang and a sister, Ruby Conley.

Hal is survived by two daughters, one son & spouses, JoAnn & Ernie Coburn of Blanco, Texas, Vickie & Jeff Clttenburg of Stonewall, Thomas Charles & Carmen Lang of Round Rock, Texas, seven grandchildren, Theresa Spangrud, Vickie Perkins, Michael Link, Christy Gallardo, Ryan Farnsworth, Joshua and Jessica Lang, ten great grandchildren, sister, Mrs. Irene Langehennig of Austin, sister in law, Billie Lang of Leon Spring, Texas....

Graveside services and interment with full military honors accorded by the United States Air Force, will be held on Thursday, December 11th, 2014 in the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.

Those who so desire may make memorial contributions in his memory to the Stonewall Volunteer Fire Dept., Hill Country Memorial Hospital, or to the charity of their choice.

Mr. Lang family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5 to 8:00 P. M. in the Schaetter Funeral Home in Fredericksburg.
