Magdalena "Maggie" M. Seiler, 86, died December 5, 2014, at Sanford Care Center off Collins, Mandan.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 noon Tuesday, December 9, at Church of St. Mary, 806 E Broadway Ave, Bismarck, with Rev. Msgr. Gene Lindemann officiating.
Burial will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery, Bismarck. Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm Monday, December 8, at Eastgate Funeral Service, Bismarck, where a rosary/vigil will begin at 4:00 pm.
Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.
Maggie was born August 7, 1928, at Zeeland, ND, to Matt and Magdalena (Wolf) Klein. She was raised and education in rural Zeeland. On October 11, 1947, Maggie married Robert R. Seiler.
Maggie worked as a cook at the VFW Club, Amvets, and Cathedral and St. Mary's Schools. She was a member of Church of St. Mary. She enjoyed cooking, embroidering, and playing cards.
Maggie was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by her family and many good friends.
She is survived by her two daughters and three sons-in-law, Susan and Wayne Westerness, New Salem, ND, Connie and Karl Schroeder, Mandan, ND, and Al Malsom, Dickinson, ND; her four brothers and one sister-in-law, Joe Klein, Zeeland, Walter Klein, Zeeland, Matt and Isabele Klein, Minot, and Leroy Klein, Bismarck; her three sisters and one brother-in-law, Julia Schatz, Fargo, Ann Weigel, Bismarck, and Betty and Duane Berndt, Herried, SD; her eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Maggie was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; her son, Donald Seiler; her daughter, Florence Malsom; her brother, Tony Klein; and her sister, Frances Gabriel.
