Julia Schatz, 97 of West Fargo passed away August 5, 2015 at Fargo, ND.

Julia was born on a farm north of Zeeland on July 25, 1918 to Matthais and Marian (Wolf) Klein. On October 15, 1940 she married Roy Schatz at St. John's Catholic Church near Zeeland. They farmed near Venturia, ND until 1989 when they retired and moved to Zeeland. Later she moved to West Fargo. 

Julia was a member of the Christian Mothers. She enjoyed quilting, crafting and reading.

She is survived by her son Francis, and daughters Carol, Donna, Julie, Sharon, Nancy and Lorri. Her sisters Ann Weigel and Betty Berndt and brothers Matt, Joe, LeRoy and Walter along with 14 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren also mourn her passing. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brothers Tony and John, her sisters Frances and Lena, her daughter in-law Barbara and grandson Randy.
