Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with full military honors presented by VFW Post 6097. Visitation after 5pmCT, Thursday, at the funeral home.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six sisters, Hazel Wright, Pearl Sandefur, Opal Moore, Clara Whitaker, Jewell Hadley and Wilmoth Loy; and two brothers, Floyd and Boyd Shearer.
