Opal L. Moore, 65, Bargersville, died Thursday at Johnson County Memorial Hospital, Franklin.
She was born Sept. 10, 1933, in Adair County, Ky., to Willie and Nellie (Sullivan) Shearer. She married Harold G. Moore Sept. 15, 1953, and he preceded her in death Jan. 4, 1996.
Mrs. Moore was a homemaker.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Mike (Karen S.) Rupert, Bargersville, and Mrs. Todd (Diane L. Hill) Jenkins, Shelbyville; three sons, Timothy A. Moore and D. LeRoy Moore, both of Bargersville, and George E. Moore, Columbia, Ky.; two brothers, Jimmy Shearer, Chicago, and David Shearer, Columbia, Ky.; three sisters, Wilmuth Loy, Hazel Wright, and Jewell Hadley, all of Columbia, Ky.; 14 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service with the Rev. Roger Gifford officiating. Burial will be in the Boggstown Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday.

LeRoy Moore, both of Bargersville, and George Edward Moore of Columbia, Ky.; two brothers, Jimmy Shearer of Chicago, Ill. and David Shearer of Columbia, Ky.; three sisters, Wilmuth Loy, Hazel Wright, and Jewell Hadley, all of Columbia, Ky.; 14 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
