Randy J. Adams, age 61, of Chillicothe passed away Monday, Dec. 1, 2014, at Heartland Health Care Center in Peoria.
He was born Jan. 22, 1953, in Peoria to L. Dean and Marie (Young) Adams. He married Brenda Cook on July 3, 1980, in Peoria. She passed away Nov. 27, 1997, in Peoria.
He also was preceded in death by his father; one son, Matthew; and two brothers, Donald and Terry Adams.
Survivors include his mother, Marie Adams of Chillicothe; one brother, Robert (Sherry) Adams of Chillicothe; and one sister, Kathy Jarman of Chillicothe.
Randy worked at Caterpillar Inc. and also was a part-time police sergeant for the Chillicothe Police Department.
He was a member of the Peoria Casting Club.
Burial will be in Chillicothe City Cemetery.
