Orvil G. "Orvin" Albright, 77, of Stephens City, died Friday, May 17, at his residence.

Mr. Albright was born Jan. 22, 1919, in Hardy County, W.Va., the son of the late Jacob C. and Hanna C. Straderman Albright. He retired in 1981 as a production worker at Abex Friction Products.

Surviving are his wife, Frances L. Leasure Albright; a son, Thomas R. Albright of Middletown; two daughters, Geraldine A. Wilber of Fairfax and Mary A. Hartley of Winchester; two sisters, Mazie Whetzel of Frederick, Md., and Bonnie Sours of Seattle; three brothers, Ernest Albright of Brunswick, Md., Dayton Albright of Jefferson, Md., and Emil Albright of Boyce; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A funeral was held Monday, May 20, at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester, with Rev. William Wade officiating. Burial was in Shenandoah Memorial Park.
